Good craic on the other island

Just away for a few days visiting Claire and Emma in Bristol and we had a great time.
We went to Alton Towers which was fantastic, except for the weather. I especially liked Oblivian. Love the whole dropping into a black hole thing. Gets your heart going.

Also went to Bath for the day on Saturday. Vern nice ctiy. Felt like we were in spain or something because the wether was beautiful and the city streets are all oldy worldy, very narrow streets and beautiful buildings. Went to the Bath sausage shop. A tip for everyone, you need to bring your own ketchup because all they have is mustard.

Shopped a bit in Bristol and spent too much money according to Fiona.

Also had a BBQ and met some of their friends. Nice people I have to say.

Thanks for letting us stay Emma. I will have to go back sometime.
